Since 2006, CPO has linked children with summer camp opportunities through outreach, application assistance, financial assistance, and barrier removal. CPO children attend camps that promote experiential learning, development of social skills, and building self-esteem and confidence. We also work closely with camp staff and parents to resolve obstacles that may prevent children from attending camp. Camp partners typically include local YMCA branches and more. Parents may also request a special needs camp for their children.
