community learning
For over 17 years, CPO has evolved as a community learning laboratory for systems and community changes to address issues affecting poverty. The goal is to improve service delivery, strategies, systems, and outcomes for CPO residents and similar individuals and families. We conduct the following types of activities to achieve this objective:
|
Bring diverse stakeholders to the table, including CPO residents |
Participate as a key community partner in community change initiatives |
Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services delivered by other organizations for CPO residents, and advocate for changes in services when necessary |
Develop and evaluate new programs and services to meet the unique needs of CPO residents |
Participate in national conferences and other forums to share best practices, priorities, and lessons learned |
