Chad Ketler
President & CEO

Mr. Ketler has been with Community Properties of Ohio since its inception in April 2003. He is currently President & CEO of Community Properties of Ohio Management Services (CPO Management), an affiliate of Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH). CPO Management began as a $133 million preservation initiative, consisting of 250 buildings and 1,385 scattered-site units in seven inner-city neighborhoods. This effort sought to create neighborhood stability and a climate of revitalization through housing renovation and effective management. Mr. Ketler is responsible for directing all facets of the organization including financial management, operations and business development. He also serves as the President & CEO of the 501(c)3, Community Properties Impact Corporation (CPO Impact) and plays a key role in maintaining the mission-driven focus of the organization.

Mr. Ketler serves on the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) Compliance Advisory Committee. He is an active member of the CAA (Columbus Apartment Association), represents CPO nationally through NAHMA (National Affordable Housing Management Association), and is the former President of MAHMA (Midwest Affordable Housing Management Association).

 

Tiana Purvis
Director of Resident Services

Ms. Tiana Purvis, MSW, LISW-S joined Community Properties of Ohio in 2020 as Director of Resident Services. She is an experienced Senior Level Macro Social Worker with high level supervisory and program development skills. Prior to Community Properties of Ohio, she served as the Director of Housing at Equitas Health, a statewide healthcare agency focusing on the health and wellness of those living with HIV. Ms. Purvis brings over 12 years of administrative social service experience with backgrounds in homelessness and housing, crisis intervention and suicide prevention, as well as anti-human trafficking work. She has presented at national conferences regarding program design, evaluation, supervision, and youth homelessness.

In addition to her macro social work practice, Ms. Purvis is also a Community Lecturer for The Ohio State University College of Social Work teaching undergraduate and graduate coursework. She serves as a field instructor for numerous colleges and universities and serves on the Community Field Advisory Committees at both Mount Vernon Nazarene University and The Ohio State University College of Social Work where she gives back to the profession through advising and guiding change and updates to field curriculum. Ms. Purvis provides clinical supervision as an independent contractor giving back to the field and community at large.

 

Dr. David Campbell
Organizational Development Consultant

Dr. David Campbell initially worked with OCCH as a consultant on due diligence and acquisition of the original 1,385 units of the CPO Management portfolio. In 2004, he became the Chief of Staff for CPO Management, affiliate of OCCH, with primary responsibility of implementing management systems and processes needed to build a customer-focused, mission-driven culture of continuous improvement. This included implementing a Balanced Scorecard approach to strategic planning and performance management, with supporting operational metrics; leadership and team development; staffing and staff development. In September of 2015, Dr. Campbell returned to his consulting practice and continues work actively with CPO leadership as Organizational Development Consultant.

Dr. Campbell has worked for over two decades in organizational development consulting. As a facilitator with the Chief Executive Network for over twenty years, he has worked with CEOs and senior executives from hundreds of companies large and small, who come together to share expertise and shorten the learning curve in improving organizational performance. Dr. Campbell received his Bachelors and Masters of Psychology degrees from Brigham Young University, and his PhD from Purdue University.

 

Barry Stayer
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Stayer joined Community Properties of Ohio Management Services in July 2013 as Chief Financial Officer. He provides asset management level oversight on financial projects as well as overseeing all day-to-day operations of the accounting department. He has over 20 years of finance and accounting experience in the non-profit, public, and affordable housing industry. Mr. Stayer has demonstrated a strong commitment to non-profit organizations, serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for a number of organizations, as well as serving on finance committees and performing financial reviews for several small non profits. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from The University of Akron.

 

Olanrewaju Ajayi
Senior Systems Administrator

Mr. Olanrewaju Ajayi joined Community Properties of Ohio in March 2020 as Senior Systems Administrator. He is responsible for the management of Information Technology Infrastructure to drive the goals and objectives of CPO securely and efficiently across multiple locations. He as over 15 years managing multinational projects where he gained experience in secured Network and Systems architectural designs, back-end server deployment, Microsoft Domain Security frameworks, VPN Systems, Storage and disaster recovery planning, Virtualization on Windows and Linux platforms, Database administration, ERP project integration and migrations, Project managements, Technical Documentations and VOIP systems. He has also developed Electronic Library systems with advanced Firewall and security threat assessment. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), AWS Fusion Splicing Certified and currently pursing Master in Cybersecurity.



 

Casey Bolitho
Database Systems Analyst

Ms. Bolitho became the Database Systems Analyst in August 2017. In this role, she is responsible for the development and implementation of data and business intelligence solutions to support performance management and program evaluation. She is the data lead for the Weinland Park Family-Centered Community Change Initiative, managing data sharing infrastructure among service and evaluation partners. Ms. Bolitho joined Community Properties of Ohio in June 2012 as Grants Manager. During her five years in that role, she established a strong infrastructure for fiscal management and compliance. Ms. Bolitho holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Kenyon College and a Master's of Social Work from the Ohio State University College of Social Work, concentrating in social work administration.



 

Gail Adams
Service Coordinator Lead

Mrs. Adams joined Community Properties of Ohio in March 2005 as Senior Service Coordinator. She coordinates with social service agencies and other community resources to assist senior and disabled residents to age in place. She works to ensure these residents receive needed resources such as home health, shopping and transportation services. Additional responsibilities include assisting seniors to access pantries and other food distributions agencies, coordinating medical needs, and providing emotional and mental health support. Mrs. Adams has over ten years experience in field of service coordination. She is certified in the field of Professional Service Coordination and is a member of the American Association of Service Coordinators (AASC). She currently serves as Service Coordinator Lead, responsible for the oversight of all service coordinators. She possesses a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology with a specialization in the field of Gerontology.



 

Traci Blaylock
Engagement Specialist

Mr. Blaylock joined Community Properties of Ohio in September 2017 as an Engagement Specialist. He provides direct service to residents as a member of our Resident Service team. Mr. Blaylock has a passion to serve as an agent for change in under-resourced communities. He possesses over 7 years' experience in education, training and non-profit management.



 

Beverly Brown
Service Coordinator

Ms. Brown joined Community Properties of Ohio in August 2011 as Service Coordinator. She provides service coordination to senior residents at Horizon House Apartments in Portsmouth, Ohio. She works to ensure that residents receive needed resources such as home health, shopping and transportation services. Additional responsibilities include assisting seniors to access to pantries and other food distributions agencies, coordinating medical needs, and providing emotional and mental health support. She has over twelve years experience in the field of Social Work. Ms. Brown is a licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio and holds a Master's degree in Social Work.



 

Lakeshia Davidson
Service Coordinator

Mrs. Davidson joined Community Properties of Ohio in February of 2019 as a Property Manager. She was later promoted to Services Coordinator in November of 2019. She provides service coordination to senior residents at Cambridge Arms Apartments in Columbus, Ohio. She works to make certain that residents receive much needed resources such as home health, shopping and transportation services. Additional responsibilities include assisting seniors with access to pantries and other food distribution agencies, coordinating medical needs, and providing emotional and mental health support. She has over 5 years’ experience in the field of volunteering with a benevolent arm in her church MERCY Worldwide and Social Work.



 

Chasity Edwards
School & Community Liaison

Ms. Edwards joined Community Properties of Ohio in July of 2017 as School & Community Liaison. She provides project management and evaluation services to the Resident Services Department as well as Weinland Park Elementary School. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of education. Ms. Edwards has demonstrated vision and collaboration. She holds a Masters Degree in Education.



 

Bridget Elliott
Grants Manager

Ms. Elliott joined Community Properties of Ohio in December 2019 as Grants Manager. She procures grant revenue and stewards relationships with corporations, foundations, and government agencies to fund Resident Services. She has over 15 years of experience in nonprofit development and marketing. For over 10 years, Ms. Elliott worked for Chicago nonprofits that provide direct services in some of the city's most vulnerable neighborhoods. There she gained expertise in fundraising to support homeless services, affordable housing, domestic violence, mental health, workforce development, early childhood education, disability services, assistive technology training, and parent education. She holds a Bachelor's in Communication Arts from Ohio Dominican University and is working towards a Masters in English.



 

Nicole Hill
Childhood Strategy Coordinator

Ms. Hill joined Community Properties of Ohio in April of 2015 and is our Childhood Strategy Coordinator. She oversees all CPO Childhood Initiatives and helps coordinate the asset building programs for our residents. Ms. Hill has a demonstrated passion for working with children and families. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Education.



 

DaVita Jackson
Graphic Designer

Mrs. Jackson joined Community Properties of Ohio in 2013 and was promoted to Graphic Designer in December 2016. She graduated from Ohio Dominican University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Communication Studies. As a former resident of CPO Management, her perspective provides an acute understanding of the barriers residents and CPO Impact participants experience. Mrs. Jackson has an extensive background working with nonprofits such as Ohio State University Extension, Ohio Historical Society, and Godman Guild. Prior to becoming Graphic Designer, Mrs. Jackson began working for CPO Management as an AmeriCorps VISTA in 2009 and a Graphic Design consultant in 2010.



 

Tanja Jones
Resident Services, Family Achievement Coach, Team Lead

Ms. Jones joined Community Properties of Ohio on June 16, 2014 as Resident Services, Family Achievement Coach. Ms. Jones is a part of the Resident Services department providing community support, mentoring and coaching to the identified families in the Weinland Park community. She has over 27 years' experience in the Child Welfare & Family Preservation field. Ms. Jones has demonstrated a positive, nurturing and hard-working attitude working with families and co-workers. She holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio since 1992. Ms. Jones has been a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) since 1992. Ms. Jones also has formal training in American Sign Language (ASL) and is Supreme Court trained in basic mediation. Ms. Jones is also trained in Trauma Inform Care, Motivational Interviewing, Crucial Conversations and Crucial Accountability.



 

Sarah Lewis
Marketing & Communications Manager

Ms. Lewis joined CPO Management in December, 2009 and was promoted to Marketing & Communications Manager in August 2012. Her responsibilities include working with leadership, operations and our resident services division to direct marketing and communication efforts on behalf of the organization and across 35 partnerships and numerous service initiatives. She engages in the development and execution of strategic and effective communications plans.

Ms. Lewis collaborates with internal and external customers to ensure all communication strategies and messages are aligned with business objectives. She has diverse expertise in the areas of brand management, commercial art and digital communication. Prior to Community Properties of Ohio, she has worked with regional and national housing developers including Dominion Homes and Lennar Urban. She brings over 19 years' experience in residential, retail and multifamily real estate.



 

Renee Minor
Resident Services, Family Achievement Coach

Mrs. Minor joined Community Properties of Ohio in January 2016 as Resident Services, Family Achievement Coach. Primary responsibilities include working with Next Doors families to establish and achieve goals aligned with FCCC objectives. Additional responsibilities include support when Choice families seek additional help in achieving goals and referral resources. Prior to accepting the position of Family Achievement Coach, Renee Minor held a position as a Workforce Development Coordinator with IMPACT. She identified and developed employment opportunities for individuals at or below 150% federal income guidelines. Renee Minor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Cincinnati. Mrs. Minor is also a Certified Financial and Housing Counselor with National Foundation for Credit Counseling.



 

Tenika Murray
Resident Services, Family Achievement Coach

Ms. Murray joined Community Properties of Ohio in October 2014 and was promoted to Family Achievement Coach in 2017. She has experience in community organization and working with at-risk families. Ms. Murray is passionate about community based work and looks forward to establishing long term relationships with residents. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Women Studies.



 

Dauntea Sledge
Engagement Specialist, Safe Neighborhood Initiative

Mr. Sledge joined Community Properties of Ohio in September 2013 as Engagement Specialist with the Safe Neighborhood Initiative, providing community outreach and engagement in the Weinland Park community. He has over six years of experience in the field of community outreach, advocacy for low-income families and foster youth. Mr. Sledge has an ability to develop meaningful relationships with residents and create innovative engagement strategies. He is currently pursuing an Associate of Arts degree at Columbus State Community College.



 

Shekeila Whitehead
Family Coach Team Lead

Ms. Whitehead joined Community Properties of Ohio in February 2014 and she now serves as Family Coach Team Lead providing educational support and job readiness training to residents. She has five years' experience in the social services field. Ms. Whitehead has demonstrated experience in case management and is a resource to CPO Resident Services. Her knowledge of relevant community resources and ability to keep members on track with their goals has proven invaluable. CPO residents and participants look to Ms. Whitehead for assistance with barrier removal and problem solving. She holds a Master degree in Criminal Justice from University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from The Ohio State University.
